Greetings my ladies and welcome to my blog. Today, I'd like to share with you all a very simple exercise; walking.

Oftentimes, we tend to neglect things we consider as little, not knowing they really do matter. In this light, I’ll like to share about walking.

Do you know a daily walk is very important? Let me give some these importance I am talking about;

  1. Walking can go a long way to help us reduce body weight. This is something that many strive to achieve nowadays. Know now that with walking, this can actually be achieved. This in effect helps to reduce body fat.

  2. Did you know that walking helps to strengthen our bones and muscles? It is proven that people who rarely walk and often only use cars tend to have weak muscles. This is mostly visible in the lower back area, the butts and laps. This is no way visually appeasing. We generally obviously look better when these muscles are strong and the good news is, just walking helps greatly in achieving this.

  3. Again, walking helps to improve cardiovascular fitness. We all know how important the cardiovascular system is. Health and wellness is more guaranteed when this area is in its good state. Walking helps in maintaining this good state; so why not walk?

  4. To add to, when we walk we indirectly prevent a lot of conditions for example heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure and cancer.

  5. Do you know that walking not only increases our energy level, our memory as well as our sleep but equally improves our mood? Oh yes; walking could actually take us through that rollacosta and make us have a smiley face on.

  6. Still in line with us, walking can go a long way to reduce stress and tension. While walking, our energy is renewed and we feel this unexplainable relief.

These and more are the benefits of walking ladies and I will end by saying we should try as much as possible to walk at least 30 minutes a day and always remember that even a little is good yet more will always be better.

I hope this motivates us to learn to enjoy walking if not for anything else, for these few beautiful reasons above.

That's it. Walking is a goo exercise and that why it's said that if you can't run or jog, then, walk... swinging your arms simultaneously...it gives great relief to your muscles. Thanks for reminding us what we tend to forget.👍

I totally agree with you, but some people think that walking is a lot of job and suffering, but that's not true, walking benefits our health so much

I actially find it fin to take long walks by myself on evening hours..its really refleshing and gives one tome to think .
However i did not know that it increases our energy.
Have learnt something .

Thanks for sharing this is very helpful.

Most wristwatches even help you count the number of steps you take per day, let's see it not as punishment but as one of the forms of exercise.

I agree with you.
I really love walking especially when my environment is safe and pollution-free.
But sadly, I live in a city and walking is just only my option today.

True; safety is very important especially considering that favorable walking hours are either early or in the evening periods.
Pollution free too is very important my dear; we do need the fresh environment for a good walk.
