Hello hello beautiful community of @steemwomensclub. I am happy to share my recipes with you once again, this time combining two flavors and two classic pastries, (Chocolate-Cheese) and (Chocolate cake and cream cheese frosting) A true delight, I declare myself a chocolate lover !
This cake is simple, fear not my darlings! If you follow my steps and tips you will obtain excellent results, in this case I prepared it for my family, my husband and daughter have a sweet tooth, and if the cake is made of chocolate, it lasts very little in the refrigerator 😁
This cake is ideal for a birthday, for a snack, to give as gifts, or to start selling desserts.
We will need the following ingredients:
For the cake
260 grams of butter
300 grams of sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
food coloring (optional)
30 grams of cocoa powder
200 grams of liquid milk
8 grams of bicarbonate
8 grams of vinegar
For the cheese frosting
200 grams of butter
440 grams of cream cheese
200 grams of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
To decorate I used fresh strawberries, chocolate, white chips and crumbs that were left over from the cake
Cake preparation:
Place the butter in a bowl and beat together with the butter until a creamy mixture is obtained, the color of the preparation changes to a beige tone.
We add the eggs one by one, we add the vanilla and the coloring (optional), We must beat well after adding each ingredient.
Add half of the dry ingredients (cocoa, salt and flour) along with half of the milk, mix only until integrated.
We add the other half of the dry ingredients along with the other half of the milk. (we mix only until integrating)
Apart in a cup or small container we mix the vinegar with the bicarbonate (this mixture should make bubbles, the bubbles tell us that the bicarbonate is active) and add it to the cake mixture.
Add the mixture to a previously buttered and floured mold.
We take to the preheated oven at 170 ° C for 30 minutes or until when punctured with a toothpick it comes out clean.
Cheese frosting preparation:
We beat the butter together with the cream cheese, until the ingredients are well combined, we add the powdered sugar and the vanilla. (Refrigerate the cream 2 hours before using it to fill and decorate the cake)
To assemble the cake, slice it into 3 discs, place the first one, fill with cream cheese, place another disc, then fill with cream, and finally another disc of cake.
Then with the help of a spatula, place cream cheese on the edges and on the surface of the cake.
Lastly, let my imagination run wild and decorate with strawberries, chocolate, white chips, and cake crumbs.
The decoration can be to your liking and with what you have in your home.
