Como muchas de las participantes habrán comentado en sus publicaciones la situación de mi país Venezuela es una de las mas críticas en cuanto a la economía, porque la devaluación de nuestra moneda con respecto a al Dólar americano (nuestra divisa más usada actualmente) ocurre a diario, incluso a cada hora los monitores de cambio de mi país varían la cifra, siempre colocando una más elevada, por eso los ingresos que puedan provenir de un tipo de moneda diferente que no tenga un índice de devaluación como la moneda fiat de mi país, siempre serán los mejores, por ello muchos hogares venezolanos dependen de Steem y de otras monedas o criptomonedas, haciendo uso de ellas por medio de trabajos online en páginas de microtareas o como es en mi caso con la creación de contenido, asímismo muchos hogares dependen de remesas de sus familiares en el extranjero , con lo cual quiero hacer énfasis en que cualquier venezolano está feliz de ganar un ingreso aunque sea pequeño en otra moneda que no sea la nacional.

Desde que me inicie en Steem, en el 2018 esta ha sido una fuente de apoyo, una muleta y en algunas situaciones un salvavidas, cuando comencé en ella y vi que podía generar un ingreso compartiendo mis amigurumis tejidos y mis dibujos, tuve como meta pagar la residencia estudiantil para seguir estudiando, pero cuando comencé a estar más activa en esta red me di cuenta que la moneda Steem no se devalúa como mi moneda nacional, era mejor usarlo como un banco de ahorro para poder ir comprando lo que no podía comprar con otros ingresos.

En Venezuela la comida es muy costosa y mantener un hogar es difícil por eso prácticamente todos los ingresos que yo puedo generar por otros medios me sirven para comprar comida, pero no me alcanza para todo lo demás, es decir, si se me dañan los zapatos no me alcanza y si se me daña la computadora no tengo dinero para repararla y mucho menos para adquirir salgo tecnológico. Por ello mi primera meta cuando comencé era reunir para comprarme un Router para poder tener Wifi en mi casa, puesto que tenia internet pero este solo estaba conectado con un modem alámbrico LAN a mi vieja computadora de escritorio o PC y yo me había comprado una Computadora Canaima precisamente porque mi vieja PC a cada rato presentaba fallas, recuerdo que ese tiempo la moneda de Steem estaba muy baja y aunque desde junio del 2018 estaba muy activa en la plataforma pude completar mi primera meta en noviembre, reuniendo todos los Steem y Sbd que tenía (mayor parte Steem porque la plataforma había dejado de recompensar con SBD por un tiempo), aun conservo la caja y el router está conectado desde ese entonces, sin WIFI mi vida seria mas difícil.

Posteriormente para el año 2020 abandoné por mucho tiempo la plataforma, porque luego del Hardfolk o como se llame que en principio no entendía nada, ya mis publicaciones recibían casi ningún voto, sin embargo pasado unos meses decidí regresar publicando esporádicamente pero aun así, cuando obtenía una ganancia siempre la dejaba en ahorro destinado a comprar solo cosas necesarias que no pudiera comprar con mis otros ingresos que se van a en comida y medicinas.

Como lo expliqué anteriormente el 2019 trajo muchos cambios, el más importante fue el racionamiento eléctrico y los constantes apagones, ello dañó muchos aparatos electricos en casa y cuando la luz se va de repente mi modem y mi router se vuelven locos y no me dan señal de internet aunque haya regresado la luz, por eso para evitar que también se me dañara la computadora, con todo lo que había ahorrado en Steem me compre un UPS, para los que no saben un UPS es como un regulador de voltaje para computadora y periféricos de la misma que tiene una batería interna incluida que te permite tener un margen de tiempo con la computadora encendida después de un apagón para que te dé tiempo de apagarla normalmente y tu equipo reciba el menor daño, esta se podría decir que fue la mejor inversión que pude haber hecho con mis Steem, porque me permite seguir trabajando en la creación de contenido y sin Steemit esto fuera sido imposible porque todo lo demás se va en comida y este tipo de cosas son muy caras.

Como vivo en una ciudad pequeñita donde no hay casi tiendas de artículos electrónico y las que hay venden muy caro, lo compre online en un tienda en la capital de mi país y pagué un envío por correo el cual me costó 9880000 lo que equivalía a en aquel entonces a 18,29 Doláres americanos, eso lo pague con otros ingresos. Pero vale la pena decir que sin Steemit esto no fuera sido posible, es un UPS de apenas 650va y seis puertos de salida, es decir 6 lugares para conectar que me sirven exactamente para el CPU, el monitor, el router y el modem. No uso los otros dos puertos porque los reguladores o cabezas de enchufe del modem y el router ocupan mucho espacio. Pero gracias a ello no tengo miedo que se quemen mis equipo con un apagón de lo frecuentes.

Actualmente sigo sin usar Steemit para mis gastos diarios, lo sigo usando como ahorro, ahora mismo mi computadora está en mal estado a pesar de haberla reparado varias veces, esto ocurre porque ya es muy vieja, asimismo no tengo celular inteligente y eso limita mucho mi actividades online debido a que no puedo descargar aplicaciones en mi computadora por usar un software desactualizado porque la capacidad del procesador no permite usar uno más nuevo, por eso estoy ahorrando poco a poco mis ingresos en Steemit que hasta ahora no ha sido grandes cantidades pero la constancia siempre trae sus recompensas y este año esto decidida a ser más constante, esperando comprar algún día una computadora con buen rendimiento y un teléfono para seguir trabajando de manera online, puesto que en mi país un trabajo formal no representa un buen ingreso, yo por ejemplo tengo dos carreras universitarias largas, es decir dos licenciaturas en las cuales invertí mucho dinero y esfuerzo y aun así no puedo tener un empleo que me permita comer bien, por eso trabajar por internet es lo que está salvando mi vida y la de mi familia, tengo un hijo y una mamá que depende de mí y todo lo hago por ellos, ellos me impulsan cada día a seguir adelante y ser fuerte cuando lo necesito y sobre todo a estar centrada en no gastar mis Steem en tonterías sino en cosas en las que puedo sacarle provecho para tener un mejor futuro, aun no aprendo como invertir en la moneda como tal, yo solo las ahorro, pero me gustaría aprender cómo sacarle más provecho, así que si alguien tiene conocimientos sobre el tema y me pueda ayudar lo agradecería con el corazón, sus comentarios siempre son bienvenidos. :)
