We are heading to the coolest season of the year ❄️ Our skin gets dry easily without the moisture in the air at this time of the year. This may feel uncomfortable and itchy, which is not good for our skin. Do you think you have dry skin?

How to Recognize Dry skin

• Skin may be dehydrated.
• Skin might have wrinkles.
• Fine lines or cracks
• Itching (pruritus)
• Skin can be easily infected with germs.

So, how do we prevent getting our skin dried? The best way would be to keep the moisture in the skin by doing a simple, natural face mask.

Types of Skin

However, before applying anything you should understand what type of skin that you have. We can categorize our skin into 5 skin types. Skin is the largest organ of our body so recognizing this is very important for skin treatments.

• Normal Skin - Feels neither tight or oily

• Oily skin – Feels oily all over

• Dry skin – Feels tight

• Combination skin – Oily t-zone normal dry cheeks

• Sensitive skin – Red, irritated tight, patchy

Some people have dry skin from genetics. However, any skin can be turned to dry skin in the winter season. So, now I’m going to show you a face mask that can make very easily at your home.

This is how you can make the Banana Face Mask

• Take a clean bowl and add 02 teaspoons of Bee honey into it.

• Add 02 teaspoons of yogurt to the same bowl.

• Take one whole banana and mash it using a grater or fork or blender.

• Then add 03 teaspoons mashed banana into the bowl.

• Finally, add 02 teaspoons of tomato juice.

• Mix well all the ingredients.

How to apply the Banana Face Mask

• Wash your face with a cleanser, pat dry the face, and then apply the mask using a brush or fingers. Application should be start from the neck to the face in an upward manner.

• Let the banana pack be on your face for 15min – 20min

• After 15 – 20min, you should feel that the mask got dry and absorb into the skin.

• Then wet your hand and massage the face in a circular motion while the pack is on. This will help to reduce the roughness of the pack and will be easier to remove the pack in the next step.

• Wash your face thoroughly till the mask comes out using a facial sponge. Do not use any soap or facewash for this step.

• Finally, apply rose water as a toner to delicate PH balance on your face.

• This is how I look after the face mask treatment.

If you can do this once a week you can see a great result on your face. When you do such natural treatment to the face it is advisable not to wear any make-up or any facial product at least for 06 hours.
