Steem Contest: 3 Things to Promote Steem to Increase Price

The steem blockchain is one of its kind and although many other communities have come out from it the same way bitcoin is the leader in cryptocurrencies so is our community the first in terms of community and social engagement on a blockchain with crypto printout. And that will always be a plus for us, we are going to always be the leaders and pioneers and it is from how far we go and how much we are able to impact that others may also learn and grow but that is not our main focus, the purpose of this write up is to share my thought on how i believe we could promote steem and by so doing push the price up again, perhaps we may even be able to restore the glory days.

Increasing the volume of steem

As it stands now the main steem volume is below that of sbd. I believe this is because of the dollar name associated with sbd, it causes many to keep sbd than steem, also the system has been printing sbd for quite a while and so many who just keep their funds do so in sbd. Another point is that because the sbd was made to peg the steem to the dollar many believe storing their funds in sbd is safer so they don't loss value just like USDT however this is causing steem greatly and because the main currency that move the blockchain is steem it tends to have a negative impact on the blockchain. Which is why sbd could soar to even 9usd value and still the impact would not be significant on the blockchain because steem itself didn't move much. So i believe one of the things we can do to increase steem price is to save our funds and payouts in steem. When we enroll on new exchanges too we should promote steem as the crypto more than sbd and this could help alot.

Brining others on board

Whiles steem is doing great and many wonderful and great things are still happening on the blockchain i believe we have lost of steemians who added not only to the volume and crypto in circulation but also added value to the blockchain. Some of these individuals have not interest in coming, others simple has forgotten about us and need only be reminded that we are still thriving and so they are welcome back to join us. Aside this though it is incumbent on you and i as steem ambassadors to propagate the good news about steem and impact it is having on the lives on many that others will also hear of it and join. Grooming new comers to be independent on the blockchain is not easy hence the newcomer's community, we have to help these new people we bring onboard find their feet before we leave them and we should not stop at just bringing one person onboard but the masses. I believe the more people here about it and utilizes the blockchain the higher our value goes which could also have a positive impact on the price of steem.

Adding more value to steem

The last time i would be talking about is adding value to steem. The world we live in now is a global village, information is accessible to all everywhere so long as they have an electronic gadget and access to internet, social media platforms have become plenty with each having its own niche. The reason i would go to medium is because of the content they produce and i may have something i am looking forward to read. The reason why bloggers may succeed is probably because he found something to writeup about that the crowd loves. Why someone would spent time on youtube rather than steem is probably because he has to keep them or he or she is gaining something there. Steem has encompass all this together into different communities for us to reach the multitude and draw them here it is pertinent that we find something we are good at and stick to it, if we are good artist we should draw more, if we are better at produce music we should do that here too on steem etc and i believe this would help draw more attention to steem automatically which could also have a positive impact on the value of steem.

Conclusion

There are probably a thousand things we could do to better the blockchain however until we are ready to put in the effort it will not work out and so even as we bring out these ideas lets strive to do better ourselves for we have to start with the man in the mirror, charity begins at home.
