I am currently into the making of kitchen cabinets and all kinds of furniture works. So, my day have been packed with a lot of duties. It includes going to town or the factories to find the best boards and accessories for a specific project as well as finding a factory which can get it edge ASAP for boxing for quick delivery.

Machine shop(lipping machine)

Today, was especially stressful, It came to my attention yesterday that the lipping machine had some minor problem and it needed fixing after transporting the boards to the machine shop for cutting and lipping services. So the board after being cut had to wait for the next day.

Got there around 10am but had to wait until 3pm before the lipping machine started working normal after being serviced. My work was in progress and about an hour down the line I called the driver to come by the shop so we can transport it to where it needs to be.

Cutting machine

The driver came late because of traffic but right after packing almost 2/3 of the board, it started raining and the rain wouldn’t stop until after about 30 minutes. Good the driver had something for covering the boards if not we would have been in a big lose.

Transporting the boards after the rain

It was a long traffic in the line. Everybody is heading back home at 6pm. I was already soaked from head to toe but good thing the rain stop and we delivered the boards to their various destinations for the setting up to be done.

For sure but it’s not always fun though. I hate being wet and staying in the same attire for a long time but it’s all good.
Thank you

Well done - and the result looks fine!

But why there are grilles in front of the window?

I appreciate. Well, that a burglar proof. Not very advisable should in case there’s a fire break out but for safety from burglars they do it anyway.
