Here I calm down, here I am reborn

I get dizzy with my shadows,
on a changing wheel
lights for the water.
Here I lose my head,
my eyes are waiting
the fragile senility
of a gentle twilight.

I take refuge for moments
on a boat at anchor,
here I can pass
my last years
almost without realizing it,
crouched under the unarmed sails,
feeling the winds of another
as if they were my own.

Here I renew my wings,
that instead of feathers
are full of scales,
iridescent, brilliant,
ocean and lake, mixed.

With my body found,
I wrap myself in the currents,
that they undo.
That take me gently
to wonderful places
that are rarely shown
to the chimeras
that do not demonstrate Sunlight
in its interior.

I melt into the magical blue
of both worlds.
I can show you the beauty
zigzagging in a green brine,
in what doesn't make sense,
in what is where it should not be.

I immerse myself in the strange distortions
of the moving waters,
as my fins slowly spread out
on both sides,
trembling with fear
due to the discord of time.
Here I calm down, here I am reborn.

Aquí me calmo, aquí renazco

Mareo mis sombras
en una rueda que trueca
luces por agua.
Aquí pierdo cordura,
mis ojos esperan
la frágil senilidad
de un crepúsculo suave.

Me asilo por momentos
en un barco anclado.
Aquí pueden transcurrir
mis últimos años
casi sin notarlo,
agazapado bajo sus velas sin armar,
sintiendo vientos de otros
como propios.

Aquí renuevo mis alas,
que en vez de plumas
se llenan de escamas,
iridiscentes, brillantes,
océano y lago, mezclados.

Con mi cuerpo encontrado,
serpenteo en corrientes,
que desandan;
que me llevan suavemente
a lugares maravillosos
raras veces mostrados
a quimeras
que no muestran luz de sol
en su interior.

Me fundo en los mágicos azules
de ambos mundos,
puedo mostrarte la belleza
de no asumir partidos
zigzagueando en un salobre verde,
en lo que no tiene sentido,
en lo que está donde no debería.

Me sumerjo en las extrañas distorsiones
de las aguas que se mueven,
mientras mis aletas se alargan lentamente
hacia ambos lados,
temblando de miedo
debido a la discordia del tiempo.
Aquí me calmo, aquí renazco.
