This work is done in an unusual technique. It is based on 100% cotton paper. First, I made a sketch with a thin pencil, then worked out the details with a liner, getting a frame graphic drawing with a minimum of shadows and semitones. Then I started painting with watercolors. I did not wet the sheet, but worked with fills, visually breaking the sheet of paper into sections. An interesting "hollow" effect was obtained on the pink peony, it was achieved using a wide fluted synthetic brush and semi-dry paint.
Эта работа выполнена в не совсем обычной технике. За основу взята 100% хлопковая бумага. Сначала я сделал набросок тонким карандашом, потом проработал детали линером, получив каркасный графический рисунок с минимумом теней и полутонов. Затем я приступил рисовать акварелью. Лист я не смачивал, а работал заливками, зрительно разбив лист бумаги на участки. На розовом пионе получился интересный «полостаый» эффект, его удалось достичь, используя широкую флейцевую синтетическую кисть и полусухую краску.
