Ono Niha || The World of XPILAR - PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #086

Hello, steemians World of Xpilar.
Today I want to share a picture that I have taken on Nias Island. This photo is for the contest The World of XPILAR - PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #086 initiated by @axeman.

Nias Island is a paradise for surfers. There are two world-class surfing spots called "The Point" and "Indicator." The surfing location directly connected to the Indian Ocean never stops the waves.

The island is located to the west of the island of Sumatra. Besides having a beautiful natural panorama is inhabited by friendly natives. They call themselves Ono Niha, which means Descendant/Son of Man. From a poem containing myths, the Nias people come from a tree of life called "Sigaru Tora'a" which is located in a place called "Teteholi Ana'a."
