WOX Travel Contest | Week 1 | Berlin

Hello @o1eh and all WOX travel lovers.

I decided to participate in the contest with a trip, or to be more precise trips, to the city of Berlin, the capital of Germany.

I love Berlin. I have visited the city on several occasions, the first time I went, I went for work and I spent about a month there and I fell in love with the city. It is almost all in a perfect state of cleanliness and order, it has excellent public transport, it is a lively city where there is always a lot of social and cultural activities. All this spiced with huge green areas and public spaces within easy reach. Over the last few years I have returned almost every year and almost always for the sheer pleasure of visiting, but also to visit friends I have there. The images below are a small summary of the times I have been there.

Me decido a participar en el concurso con un viaje, o para ser más exactos viajes, a la ciudad de Berlín, la capital de Alemania.

Me encanta Berlín. He visitado la ciudad en varias ocasiones, la primera vez que fui, lo hice por trabajo y estuve aproximadamente un mes y me enamoré de la ciudad. Está casi todo en un perfecto estado de limpieza y orden, tiene un excelente transporte público, es una urbe viva en la que hay siempre un montón de actividades sociales y culturales. Todo ello aderezado con unas enormes zonas verdes y espacios públicos al alcance de la mano. A lo largo de estos últimos años he vuelto casi cada año y casi siempre por el puro placer de visitarla aunque también para visitar a los amigos que tengo por allí. Las imágenes que subo son un pequeño resumen de las veces que he ido.

I was lucky enough to be able to take a photographic flight over Berlin, an unforgettable experience. An example of how orderly the city is is the Kreuzberg district.

Tuve la enorme suerte de poder realizar un vuelo fotográfico sobre Berlín, una experiencia inolvidable. Una muestra de lo ordenada que está la ciudad es el barrio de Kreuzberg.

Berliners love street markets, and as soon as the weather permits there are a number of them that are a must.

Following on from the renowned architects whose work is to be found in Berlin, Norman Foster designed the dome of the Reichstag, the German parliament.
