Horrible deception case of plagiarism inside our platform.

A fortnight ago the @open-theworld community announced a nature contest with substantial prizes of 100 steems.

Today the prizewinners were revealed and looking at the entries they had made, I can safely say that the community itself encourages and rewards plagiarism.

Here are the five entries of the five winners, with exactly the same text and terribly similar images.

First prize:

Second priza:

Third prize:

Fourth prize:

Fifth prize

And there are still some strange coincidences, the five winners have been inactive on Steemit for three years now, and have come back to participate in the competition:

What's more, four of them made their entries back-to-back on the same day. All highly suspicious.

This is not the first time this has happened. Every contest open-theworld has release, the prizes have been given to very low quality pictures and to contestants who have copy pasted the text from each other.

And all of them transferred their prizes back to the content organiser within 30 minutes of receiving their prizes.

In summary, the "contest" was organised and entered by the organisers' own accounts, who then won all of the prizes.

It all looks like a huge amount of totally pointless effort but then the reason became obvious...

They are creating and rewarding fake competitions in the hope of becoming community of the month. Oh, and they're secretly working with @endingplagiarism. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

PS. I think there's a limit of 10 tags that you can make for notifications to work. I didn't get a notification but read quite a lot of the content within WOX so this caught my eye.

Hi @the-gorilla,

First of all thank you very much for replying, it is gratifying for me that a moderator echoes what I reported.
If you have followed the thread of what happened, it was me as a participant in the contest (I had also participated in another three months ago), I began to investigate what was happening and after reviewing the entire history of the community, was when I developed the original post to which you have now responded, and I had already uploaded to Steem School following the rules of the contest of @tatjanastan that rewards the fight against plagiarism, (I have not yet been included in the list of the same).

After a whole series of messages and the person in charge had deleted two entries, I put the link to my post in another of stef1 and he produced a detailed entry to which followed more responses from the alleged moderator of that community / cave of thieves. The question is that after everything that happened, I strongly believe that behind all this mess there is only one person. Obviously I don't know who it is, but I have a deep suspicion that the whole plan has been the work of a single individual.

Forgive me for the length of my answer, but I feel the subject as a personal matter and I feel involved in the development of this novelistic plot.

Thank you again, your support means a lot to me.

I'm always happy to help 👍

Hi Xavier, if you remember I mentioned to you that such posts if you do via our community then I may submit for @booming, but if you have posted already one post then you can't do the same content but in other community. Such posts I am not able to submit, also, I can't submit the posts that are done outside of our community. That was a reason why I have mentioned you to SC01 once again.

Please avoid posting the same content in different communities. Thank you :)
