I've always avoided portraying Father Christmas, elves, the Easter Bunny, witches and fairies as real... Whether that was a good thing or a loss of early imagination and creativity - I don't know. In any case, my children were the ones who robbed the other kids (who believed in Father Christmas & Co.) of their illusions... ;-))
