I can defeat this entire argument with a few screenshots.

Hive Home Page:

Good variety of articles, written in English the language most used by business people in the world.

Steemit Home Page:

Articles about "100 days on steemit", I have been on here for 4 years as of today. Also a bunch of articles in Chinese or Japanese, some language I don't know.

So by comparing the home page, we can see Steemit has useless articles that won't attract anyone to the platform. Where as Hive has a good variety of informative articles written in a language the vast majority of the world uses for business.

Okay how about my work, as someone who has invested 4 years of uploading content to Steemit and driving audience to well now both because of the split.

So after investing 4 years of uploading my content to steemit I am earning a whopping .14 cents per upload. Whereas on Hive I am earning like $4-$20 on average. So where should I invest my time?

Which platform is rewarding me for using it? Which platform is now devoid of people who read English articles and watch English spoken videos?

All Justin Sun has done from my perspective is make Steemit basically a crypto version of WeChat or some other Chinese application that no one in the Western World pays attention to or uses.

I still like Steemit for the lack of censorship here, but that is not enough to bring decent content creators here or an audience that THEY bring with them. Your platform can be the cat's meow but if there are no people to use it, it doesn't matter.

Maybe the steemit whales should start upvoting content that will bring other content creators to this platform instead of articles written in Japanese about Crypto markets or whatever they are about.
