Traveling the golden province of South Africa

There is a place in South Africa called the “Free State” or “Vrystaat” in my home language. My Steemian friends, I invite you to travel through the Free State with me. The Free State is everything but a “place.” It is one of the nine provinces of South Africa. If you had to find it on a map of South Africa, all you need to do is point to the middle. It is a province that is rich in history and plays a vital role in South Africa’s tourist attractions.

Steem Debates : Do We Want Change?

After the big split in March 2020, there was one major change on Steem. Steemit Inc got actively involved on the platform. Prior to the split Steemit Inc took a very hands-off approach to the community. They didn't organise events or challenges, they didn't support community curators or country reps, and they certainly didn't vote on posts with two big steemcurator accounts. All these interventions by Steemit Inc almost certainly saved Steem after the departure of such a large part of the community (and nearly all the whale curators) to Hive.

As soon as time allows, the beautiful weather draws me outside. May is definitely one of my favorite months, and I just have to take advantage of the warm but often still fresh air and the increasingly longer days. I always plan so much, but unfortunately I also realize that it's impossible to fit it all in. As soon as our little ones get a bit bigger, there's suddenly no time for so many things, even though we've made such big plans.

Here's a Close Up of the White Stuff that came out of the Heavy Brown Rock and stuck on the Metal Plate after I dipped in the Blue Solution, by using Distilled White Vinegar...

I'm thinking the White Stuff is Silver, but for all I know, it could be Rhodium...

Rhodium is supposed to be the Whitest of all Metals...
