Rice Beetle

Aceh as one of the most densely populated areas and is an agricultural area. Where most of the population uses rice as a staple food. With the increasing population of Aceh, the need for rice will also continue to increase.

So it is necessary to increase agricultural production to achieve national self-sufficiency in rice, in addition to increasing rice production, it must also be balanced with good post-harvest handling, one of which is storage of crop yields.

Storage of crops is also a very important chain to achieve the goal of national rice self-sufficiency because if storage of crops is not handled properly, agricultural products such as grains and other products will suffer damage during storage and the damage can be physical, chemical, biological, microbiological and other damages that can cause a decrease in the quality of agricultural products.

One of the damage during storage is caused by an attack by warehouse pests such as rats, fungi, insects and other animals, among the warehouse pests that cause the most damage is insects.

Overall damage that can be caused by insect pests. continued insect attacks can cause a decrease in the quality of food stored.

One of the pest insects that cause damage to food is Sitophilus oryzae. Where these insects are able to multiply quickly and cause damage to various types of food crops, especially attacking grain, corn and rice. The longer rice is stored, the population of S.oryzae increases, more eggs lay and produce new imago

Rice beetle population will increase with the length of storage and the emergence rate of the initial population of rice beetles Wikipedia, because insects will be meting and copulating with their partners so that it can produce more generations, this is influenced by environmental conditions on the survival of S. oryzae.

This condition is very suitable for the growth and development of Sitophilus oryzae. Sitophilus beetle pest requires optimum temperature between 25 ° C - 30 ° C for its development. Life Cycle - Wikipedia source

Temperature is very influential in the life cycle from the egg phase to adulthood. As with temperature, the insect insecticide Sitophilus also requires an optimum humid condition of 70% to sustain its propagation. In addition to temperature and humidity factors, water content factors also affect the growth and development of Sitophilus Oryzae.

S. oryzae prefers rice from Inpari21 type because the initial water content of rice is 19.7% higher than four types of rice from other varieties.

Note: For all steemit account users.

Then it reminds me and this is a good concept to build steemit in the future, from the comments @xpilar on the post @jacorv

about " When I produce my digital images, I am in a completely different world that gives me peace and satisfaction. And my competitions where I ask others to write a story based on my digital image give me a lot because there are many good storytellers here ".

It's very important to understand and remember all steemit account users. All comments from @xpilar in @jacorv is post are a perfect concept.

You're welcome.
I like reading about friend's arguments here. actually I want a lot of questions about the content assessment criteria,

But in my opinion, it's better for me to be quiet, because silence is gold. except the problem that we are discussing there must be a response. then I will speak for our progress together ... oooo yes the insects in my post said "UJO". Other languages. that's the fact of the phenomenon of life. Thanks
