Visiting Druids Forest
Living in Scotland we noticed that there is a close cultural connection between may different Northern nations and all of them left more or less their prints in the tradition, culture but also many families have mixed families, like Scots and Irish.
In our little town we often see that there are some traces of Druids. Actually while working in Hospital and admitting patients one of the question is religion. I have heard one or other time that the people are members of Druids community. I could not believe that this is a truth but that it is.
The place where we love to spend our weekend walks is an old park, it is also called Druids forest. Nowadays I do not think that there is any ceremony or any rituals there but we could find this little statue made of wood.
Here we have a series of photos with different trees and some of them after storm that are on ground as evidence of strong storms that was able to rip the trees with roots.
Going further in the forest, there are many more trees standing close to each other and in summer when they have many leaves then it is really dark. On this picture and the next one @myskye creates such magical atmosphere due to the fact of coming closer to Druids gathering place.
This statue is a height of adults and made with the love to details, the hair the coat and also an owl with book everything is perfect.

Very beautiful shots, congrats to you and to @myskye! I love trees that tell us about the passage of time, about the force of the wind when they have suffered storms.
I love when they form a magical and mysterious forest like this one that you were lucky enough to see.
I imagine that this must have been the feeling of the Celts and their Druids.

Yes, I remember when our son was little it was a lot of fun to walk through such forest, because in any strange shape we saw something but also like to climb on them. You know how are the kids they like to touch everything. of course, the highlight was always that wooden statue.
Yes, I have seen the e-books thank you very much. The authors showed that typical light and airy quality of watercolor painting. I like how the scenes done without much detailing but still there is a story to read. The fact that you study the scene with eyes going to one detail but then sliding to other.
I immediately saved them yesterday and will read on weekend.
