Scottish Heritage: St. Andrew's University founded 1413
If you know a little about Scotland and what is something special that makes it well known in the whole world. Scots love their history and proud of this University. It is probably one of the oldest University that is founded between 1400 and 1413 and it is almost 600 years old.
The competition to get a place in this University is very high and for International Students it is also one of the favourite place where they learn but also can learn new hobby in also one of the oldest Golf clubs.
The day when we visited University it was time of summer holidays that means students were away and it was not very crowded that was good for us.
This is how it looks in the middle of the yard, I like the idea of open space with short lawn, I can imagine that during such warm and sunny days the place it is very popular for students who just make themselves comfortable and have some free time between their classes.
When I see these buildings that makes me think about Harry Potter and their school in Hogwarts.
You know that old architecture I wonder how skilful the stonemason were creating such complex and beautiful buildings. This path looks magnificent and it is very special feeling when you walk along the corridors. The door at the end of the corridor makes me think where this door leads.
I hope you also enjoyed the journey :)

Hola feliz día, me encantan ese tipo de arquitectura deben tener mucha historia, sería interesante saber cómo fue su construcción en esa época sin toda las maquinarias de ahora.
It is quite magnificent isn't it @stef1! I love old architecture like this because it carries so much history!
So true! and yet, with all our modern machinery, knowledge, manpower and technology - they just don't make things like they used to. The focus just isn't on quality anymore - it just seems to be about the quickest, cheapest way to do things, which is sad really.
Oh my god, it was founded between 1400 and 1413 and it is almost 600 years old. That's really awesome. Why does it look empty? Is there a holiday or something? Generally, universities are bustling with the energy of youth and their activities. I'm so curious to know.
Yeah those buildings really remind me of harry potter haha!
