Saturday walk: On the way to Dysart Haven- Ravenscraig Castle (P-1)
Hello my dear Steemians,
End of the week and we have such sunny beautiful day today, it is noticeable that spring is slowly taking its turn. Today after breakfast we decided to have a long walk to our favourite destination Dysart Haven. Looking at the thermometer, it showed +4C but once we were outside it felt much warmer because it was sunny and not many clouds. Here is the view that you can see once you are in 10 minutes at the coast. Pine trees very typical for coast and on cliffs.

Here is the old ruin of Ravenscraig castle that was built in 1460 initially as royal residence but shortly after it was gifted to Sinlair Clan who finished the castle with 3.5m-thick walls as earliest artillery fort in Scotland. In 1650-51 during invasion of Scotland by English forces, the castle was invaded, attacked and destroyed. Since 1955 the castle was passed to state and open for public.
Along the whole coast there is a stone wall with the observation towers to detect invaders in time. Still when you are inside of this tower, it feels like there will be some Sailing ships will appear on horizon.
After we passed the Castle, the path goes along the seaside, the North sea is famous for its waves and for being unexpected moody, today it was calm and there was almost no waves. That is why it was a pleasure to enjoy the fresh wind and salty air. I will continue our Saturday walk in the Part-2.

We all are missing spring and warm days, but it is easy to notice long days and more chances to go out for sightseeing and visit new places.

Royal residences shows the intelligence of old engineers. Also reflect their effort and hard work. View among the stones is very loveable and is able to capture in amazing scenery.
The architecture of old time is fascinating with its beauty and quality. Luckily some buildings are still existing till now, it is a pity that they are not restored, but I think there might be not enough of specialists.
