Saturday walk: coastal path walk of 24 km-Part-2
While continuing our walk we often turned back and made few pictures in the direction of our town Kirkcaldy, initially we could recognize it but the further we walked it was slowly disappearing.Nevertheless, we discovered more interesting stuff on our way, like the flat stones that people erected passing by. YOu probably seen such pictures in other countries while on coasts or along rivers. It is very human thing, when we see that someone started something we just need to contribute and add our own touch. Like in this case we have put one more stone to this construction.
Open and relatively calm sea with blue sky and few cloud formation far at horizon and not above us.
On this picture we can see the remnants of coal mining industry. That made this area rich in the past not much we can see from that wealth now, only the reminder of those days and of course people who did work in coal mines and still missing that period of time.
This is the path down from the hill to beach, as you can see before going down there is a bench that simply inviting to have a break and to observe the beauty below. That we have done too.
This is a stair down, endless but surrounded with juicy green vegetation. I felt myself like in a rich forest and like a child who was discovering something new and adventurous.
Just once we arrived to beach we have seen this old construction, long stone wall and little castle with two observation towers. This is now in private hands, lucky owners, I would also loved to have such castle on the cost of North Sea.
By the way, while going thought he little towns we often see the symbol of Solidarity with Ukraine people and this kind of Flags not once, there will be few more images in later posts.
As reminder here are once again the maps of the whole coastal path and another one is our own trip.
Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
All the pictures taken are so fascinating, and bring back the old memory and of course that's what we all lived for.
Well-done for the great job.
