Restoring church
Hello my dear Steemians,
I like any good stone work of work using timber. Often in the past stone churches were preferable, maybe because they could stay for long time and only after 50+ years they need some restoration. This is currently in the process of bringing the old beauty to the light and also for people. Today people can appreciate the work of old masters and also we see not only government but also private people happy to fund such projects.
Your description of the stone work and timber combination in old churches is fascinating, and I'm curious to know more about the restoration process you witnessed. What was the most impressive aspect of the restoration for you? 🏰📸
