Pen drawing: Brat Pitt or how much you need to be creative
Hello dear Steemians,
I often ask myself what is Art and who is an artist, every time I catch myself that I return in my thought to my teacher in primary school who during our first lesson when she was telling that everyone can do that if the person puts an effort, care and love to what the person does.
I always loved drawing that is why for me it was never a problem to draw my sketches on napkin while sitting together with friends in cafe, on piece of clean paper while at work and just on the corner of newspaper when I am in waiting room. That could be anything even just the lines and forms.

Have you heard a quote that simple and smart are genius and often when we see them we think how simple it is and why it was not me who came to this idea first. When I saw this article I thought the same, the person called Maurizio Cattelan taped banana on the wall, he managed to sell that for $120.000, for this Art you need a banana, wall and a tape. He eats banana next day and tapes the other one, this is copyright protected and the man is earning with his brilliant idea.

I did not have any fruits yesterday while being at work but I had a piece of paper for writing the notes and my black ball pen that I am using to write note, the pen costs 4 cents, a piece of recycled paper maybe also 5 cents. That is all I spent to do my drawing. I did it because I love to do portrait, I still find that there is a lot to improve for me the proportions are my weak points and I love to try again and again.
That was the reason why I am doing that, I want to get better, I want to learn and because I love to do it. I hope you also will get this motivation and inspiration if you decided to do an Art, you have to strive to improve yourself, like one of my teacher said:
Every day is a school day
And that was said not in Art class but in my job being a surgeon, we also learn everyday, we receive critique everyday, we then look in tutorial and books or speak to our older colleagues and we improve ourselves without being offended. The criticism is a driving force and motivation to get better.
So now back to my sketch, I enjoyed my work and my colleagues from night team who saw that liked it too.

Thank you, I did not do drawing with pen before, but recently when started like it, of course, some time need to through away because you can not use eraser but often it comes out nicely.
Yeah, thats the challenge and practice :) ...it good for level up yourself :))
I can see why he paid that much if he made his duct tape and sculpted a banana. I have made millions of rolls of duct and many other types of tape. It is an expensive thing to get into

It is sometimes even better just using a pen, you are very good in drawing, just try you also will love it :)

I love this. The US Military has saying "train to failure." You keep practicing (training) until you fail, then you push harder next time until you fail again. I've learned so much from my failures in life.

Drawing with a pen is no small feat, i mean if i make the slightest mistake i have to be a beast to be able to cover that up with art or I'll just have to start again. Its crazy man!
