On the way home: any good Holiday comes to its end
Wanted to catch up on our trip back from Germany and to share the nice memories about that. First of all any good holiday will end but that often means that it is time for us to prepare for the next trip.
When we have to leave, I try to remember everything, enjoy every small details that I can keep in mind.
This time we decided to leave a bit earlier just in case if anything unexpected happen on the road then we have plenty of time. This time weather forecast suggested rain but not so cold and also not much wind.
The road was okay, there were some lorries and cars, but still it was not too busy and no traffic jam.
Many of you might remember that I mentioned before that the ferry "DFDS Seaways" from Denmark. There are two different vessels one is "Princess Seaways" which is slightly smaller than "King Seaways" that travel between Newcastle, UK and IJmuiden. Here I wanted to share the photos of those two vessels and the routes that DFDS does.
It is almost a tradition to do a small walk around on decks and to look around because the weather was warm it was okay to have a walk in fresh air and also to check for the rescue routes.
The good thing about the travel over night is that in the morning we can have nice breakfast. Usually there are many different type of breakfast for any taste. The children love to be there and feel themselves like adults go from their table to buffet and choose what they like.
We always take a table at window so that we can see water and waves, but only provided the water is calm. The food was as always very delicious.
The rest of our drive was uneventful as well as weather was sunny but cold.

Yes, catering was great especially for breakfast, everything is fresh and delicious. We had once dinner but that was not so good, that is why we take some snacks on board for evening but we enjoy our breakfast :)

Every time I am on that deck there is a holiday feeling and impression that the ferry will have a long trip. You should try night cruise at least once :)
"шведский стол" - это еще один приятный бонус в таком путешествии. :) Недавно смотрел фильм, российский. Бабушка учила внучку - бери от жизни всё. Это в отношении того, что нужно унести со стола как можно больше еды, и желательно даже на прозапас с собой. :)
Я тоже видела “шведский стол“ помню как с расподам это было очень популярным, сейчас многие рестораны его предлают. Мне очень нравиться, всего понемногу :)

Yes, the view from ferry is always impressive, I love evening in summer, when we can see sunset and reflection of that in water. In winter it is another positive side, dark and clear sky with stars, amazing. It is difficult to get good pictures the darker the night is. But we love to make pictures on every our trip :)
