My ArtVenture: Pastel painting „Alien“ or Contest “My Sci-Fi” is still ongoing
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
In order to support the Artists and creative people we created @art-venture account 2 years ago and running contests, this time the topic is “My Sci-Fi”.
We thought that having such wide range of possible theme for this topics we will have many more entries but until today there are only 10 Submissions.
Therefore we wanted to let Artists know that you can post from any community but use tag #art-venture which is mandatory and also it will make it easy to find you.
In order to give you an idea and probably an inspiration I have created my Pastel painting for topic “My Sci-Fi” and dedicated it to one of the first Sci-Fi movie that I watched in 80’s it is “Alien” with Sigourney Weaver and directed by Ridley Scott, that completely changed my love to Sience Fiction and I am still loyal to this genre.
When I saw couple of submissions to our contests I just wanted to write what is Art to me. I am not a professional Artists and only started to do Art again after more than 20 years of pause.
If you ask me why I do it, for me to draw or paint is to relax, to enjoy, to put my inspiration on paper, canvas and try myself, to put some challenges and to reach the aim.
The whole process is like a real work it takes few days, first you have to have an idea what you are going to do, it is normally relates to something like an events, news, beauty, movie, architecture or anything else.
The next is to find appropriate Art medium to express it.
The next is creative process, please take time and even if it takes you couple of days, then take it, do not rush but try to make your best and enjoy the result.

Я тоже просто в восторге от первой части,до сих пор с удовольствием смотрю. Особенно когда они найдут Spaceship я тогда уже думала кто бы это мог быть, потому что Aliens сами не могли их построить, то должны были быть какие то другие Aliens :)
Самый шикарный момент, который меня потряс - это когда робот пытается её убить, и выясняется, что он робот
Это действительно был шок, особенно в то время тема android была очень новая, а актер просто замечательный Лэнс Хенриксен который играл Бишопа

Очень интересно наблюдать как на листе появляется изображение какого-то действа. И причём оно такое реальное.
Мне всегда хочется разглядывать детали в ваших картинах. В этот раз особенно впечатлил шлем. Ты великолепно написала объёмность и блеск. А уж как ты рисуешь лица, ну просто шедеврально.

Привет и спасибо за отзыв, очень приятно за такой комплимент, я всегда боюсь начинать иногда мои идеи ждут несколько дней или даже недели перед тем как я решу что то начать. Потом трудный момент, так как я слишком много времени отдаю на детали. Но в конце обычно довольна результатом.

I remember the movie Aliens which was shown in my country in the early 90's :D and there was also a video game made for it as well. I was in high school back then.
