About 4 years ago we cut down a big tree on our property the trunk was cut into big pieces and stored in backyard just next to our house wall. Now we thought to move them away in far back of the garden that was our task yesterday.

When there is such heavy jobs of course it is better to do it together and I am glad to say that we are as a family a great team. After couple of hours the whole work was ready and now we have a lot of space and it looks tidy.

Using my leave time it also gives us an opportunity to concentrate on our new role of Steemit Community Curator (@steemcurator08) and also we are trying to keep looking for amazing creative people and be able to display them too.

We are thankful Steem Team @steemitblog and @steemcurator01 who supporting the initiative of @art-venture project and giving us an opportunity to reward the people better.

For all the people who are still active on Steemit and who feel that they are not noticed you can change it yourself, you need to be active there are a lot of opportunities. To start with I would suggest to look daily in @steemitblog there are all new Contests and Challenges where everyone can take part, be creative and try to do your best to create interesting, creative, extraordinary posts, you definitely will be seen and it is worth to do it.

There you can see contests that are running by other Steemians where you can take part, of course not all can win, this is understandable, but other curators can find you and you will get their upvotes.

You have a very neat backyard @stef1 :D
It is nice to plant colorful flowers or vegetables or fruiting plants in there too :)

Hi @cryptopie we thought to use it for simple field plants and flowers that do not need a special treatment, just for bees ad bumble-bees. With current event of Corona we were chatting if to use the garden to plant some vegetables, at the moment it is just laugh but who knows if the time comes it maybe a case :)

Ooooh...your house is so beautiful, and really not so far from being a castle ! ^_^ these stones... this is wonderful, I love it ! And your garden is great and pretty, so enticing ...! I'm sure this is a lot of work, if it is so tidy it means you spent lot of time and work so ...Bravo !!okayredim.png

You are right, that was a reason when we decided to buy this house because of exterior, it is stable and very spacious, the only thing that makes us busy the previous owners the elderly couple look like have had renovation maybe in 70's and nothing since so there is a lot of work to do, of course the good thing is we still can effort us to live in few rooms and couple of others for my hubby to work, so his workshops. We always say one day when it is finished then we can just rest back and enjoy it :)

You have a fairly large area that requires attention.
But you can at any time be in nature and not be afraid that you will be stopped by the police for what you went for a walk...

Yes, but we also made it simple, no decorative flowers and plants and middle is just green to keep it tidy, during nice sunny and warm days it is a great place to be out, still planning to buy some grill this summer, as last summer was really "hot" for Scottish measures :)

Hi Stef! What a very interesting house you have! Very static and the stones look like a castle in Harry Potter. :D Beautiful!
We use the same wood/beems you have for your wood storage, but here it is the patio. Is it also stable wood? I love it because it smells like horse :D
I am super happy you got that delegation from steemit, you absolutely deserve it! Tomorrow, cryptokannon and I will launch the discord and curation project for new and undervalued Steemians, we would LOVE to help you back! Hope you will like it and join us! THANK YOU!

Hi @ciska and thank you for your nice words, if would be interesting to join the Discord too, although except this week when i am on AL the further time would be busy and will not be able to be there regular.

The wood that we use is from our lime tree and when it burns it lasts longer as the wood is really hard and contains some oils too. It is really nice to be in front of open fire, especially in winter. I love the stonework of our house, it is stable and has high ceiling too, in compare to modern houses has a character :)

I mean the structure where you have put the chopped wood in :) I am sorry I am not native English and sometimes I just can't find the right word :DD
I think its an amazing setting to hold campfires!
The discord for @steemingcurators is https://discord.gg/K7aM3Zz
You are more than welcome, it is still work in progress but every day we will get closer to our goal! THANK YOU

You have a nice garden and cozy house. Green gras, we still have some snow on the lawn 😄🌞 @steemcurator is a great initiative👍😊

Hi Harald, you are right while having lock down we do not really feeling that. The only thing I miss usually we travel to the local fisher towns at the coastal area and that is something that we will do once everyone is back to normal. The weather here is really nice and sunny although not really hot but when sitting on sun it feels like 20C, if there is no wind, still really nice. Hope you will have nice weather there too :)

Very cool house and garden! Doesn't that wood get wet when it rains? Or do you cover it with something?

Yes, the wood that we now moved to back of the garden but we do not think we will be using it in near future, so that is OK: The other good one that we will use first is in a shed, so there is no place now. The wood dries up really quickly either while being on sun or when we put in front of fireplace :)

Wow, your house is very authentic and beautiful. Is that house is made of stone. The back yard is very green and clean.

Yes, the house is made of sandstone, some of them starting to get destroyed but still in good condition. My hubby has garden under his control :)
