DIY: there is a time for new

Hello my dear Steemians,

 

After returning back to Scotland we still have the fever of getting something done with our own hands. It is still some time till end of the week till our next payday therefore, we need to do something that does not require anything to buy but for example what we can do with our hands.

Few years ago we have bought an equipment it is a kind of steamer consist of a plastic reservoir, that is connected with a rubber tube with the flat plastic cover. The machine requires electricity to work, to boil water and the steam will be then given to the end or the plastic lid and that should be put on wallpaper, with steam the wallpaper got wet through and it is easy to peel if off a wall. That is why we decided to use it.

 

 

This is how the work progressed and you can see that the wall becomes empty and smooth.

 

Here after the layer of wallpaper we found the painted wall imitating timber and was waterproof. That colour is on the wall. We decided to strip off the wallpaper from other walls first and at the end to decide what we will do with that colour.
