DIY: Newly renovated Computer room
Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to tell you about our completed project of computer room. It was a small room and we used it for computer and paperwork because of the size. Everything in this room was old, wallpaper was lemon yellow colour, the window and shutter as well as door was painted many times leaving thick layer of white colour. All timber here was white.
The carpet on floor was partially loose and horrible green colour, it was with some spots too. Everything was looking horrible so shortly after Christmas we decided to upgrade our Computer room and here I wanted to share how it was developing and what is the end result.

First of all we have stripped wallpaper that was the easiest part, here you can see the yellow walls and the windows are still white. Taken the wallpapers off walls were not difficult but took us couple of days and also that produced a lot of garbage.
Now the walls are bare, we had to polish them too so that wallpapers would be applied on smooth surface. The frame around the door is also taken down.
Here is how the timber of the floor was looking like, unfortunately it was everything totally rubbish condition that was not possible to save. For replacing to new oak planks, it would be too expensive, so we decided to replace them with laminate.
You can see the cables running under wooden floor.
Slowly we approached window, layer by layer we started to see the wood under white colours, already now it looks great.

This is another time when I repeat to @myskye that he has "golden hands" and very good taste. The room has its style and well decorated, everything fits together very well.
The colours of room we decided to leave dark oak and creme, that combines very well together and as you can see looks great.
The empty wall was decorated with such clock with large numbers so that we do not need to decorated it with anything
Here you can see the opposite side of the wall, we decided to hang a small shelf.
Here is another shelves for more stuff, we decided to take light one so that it is fixed to wall.
