What started off as a harmless hiking trip near the abandoned city of Elysey quickly turned into a bone chilling experience for James and Lauren. James and Lauren had planned to hike near Elysey: City of the Lost Mummies to take some sunset photos. What they didn’t expect was getting lost and finding themselves in the maze-like restricted area of Elysey at sundown.

They had been roaming around to find an exit for 35 minutes but had no luck. James and Lauren were stunned by the beautiful ornamental designs on the tombs that towered above them along with canopic jars. Although the air was musty, James and Lauren couldn’t help but give themselves a tour of the place. The place stretched for miles with multiple routes interconnected with each other and a breezy forest. Lauren stopped James and said that it would be better to not go further into exploring the city since there was poor light and they would likely get deeper into the maze. Suddenly, James exclaimed, "Look at that shadow Lauren! There is something not right here. "
Lauren looked behind her and told James that the sarcophaguses and canopic jars were casting shadows which gave off the illusion of a body outline. Lauren and James decided to find a spot near a large tree to rest until morning time to find an exit. As they were heading towards their resting spot, a sharp windy breeze engulfed their surroundings. Suddenly, James heard Lauren scream his name as she pierced her leg with a thick tree branch splinter. James helped Lauren up as the breeze went away and Lauren told him about how she saw an outline of a person. James and Lauren managed to clean Laurens wound with their leftover safety kit from their hiking backpack and took a rest until morning time.
