Cerberus - The cuddly sheep!

BELOW IS THE STEP BY STEP DEMONSTRATION OF CREATING THIS DIGITAL ART:

1. Choosing the template:

I took the liberty of digitising this beautiful moment of affection between the owner and her pet sheep. This photo is from an article by the very same caretaker, who published her amazing article with lovely photos of her farm animals. The link to her article is mentioned under the caption of this photo.

2. Uploading the photo into my favourite Ibis paint X software followed by meticulous tracing and sketching:

SUB STEPS OF DIGITIZATION:

i. Tracing Cerberus:

I had a lot of input from my daughter in this step. We went forward and backward deciding the colour and texture of this lovely sheep. I hope we did justice to him. Only Cerberus can tell us now 😎

ii) Choosing just the right shade of jacket. We are again conflicted here:

iii) Adding texture to sheep's body and face:

TIME TAKEN:

I completed this arts in steps... While waiting for my kids in cars, waiting for milk to be boiled and then before going to bed to lull me to sleep.
