Callistemon comboynensis, also known by the common name of red broom, is a shrub of the Myrtaceae family.
It is native to the states of Queensland and New South Wales in Australia.
The species reaches up to 2 meters in height and has leaves that are 5 to 7 cm long and 8 to 20 mm wide.
The flower is crimson in color and is produced mainly between March and June (early fall and early winter) in its place of origin, but can also appear irregularly throughout the year.
They are 6 to 7 cm long and about 6.5 cm in diameter. The anthers are purple.
