Steemit Engagement Challenge WOX Community S10W6: Drawing "Still Life"

Hope you all are doing well and good and enjoying the best days of your life. This is me @shahid2030 from Pakistan and you are here reading my post. You all are welcome here from the core of my heart.
This is my participation in a contest Drawing "Still Life organized in WORLD OF XPILAR by @worldofxpilar.
I love participating in such Contest. It's always my favorite contest in Steemit when it comes to drawing or making sketches. Making art with my hands is my favorite hobby.
I am very excited to participate in this beautiful contest. I have made a sketch of some fruits in a basket. I downloaded the original picture from a copyright free site. I will share it's source. So let's start a stepwise process of making my art.
Step 1 |

You will need a white blank paper for making this art. So I have taken a white paper for my sketch.
Step 2 |

I started my sketch with a light 2B pencil. This is the initial stage where I drawn some outlines of the sketch. In each tutorial I mention that must use light pencil (2B) at initial stages. If you make outlines with light pencil, it will be easy for you to erase it if you want some changes in it. Don't apply force to your pencil, always try to use pencil softly and gently.
Step 3 |

In third step the whole materials of the sketch are introduced. An urn of water made of glass, some fruits in the basket and some are lying on ground.
Step 4 |

In this step I finalized the outlines of my art. All the things in the picture are redrawn with a black 4B pencil. The look and shape of my sketch is finalized here.
Step 5 |

In this step I introduced shading to my sketch. The shading is done with 8B pencil. Keep in mind it's not finalized, the shading and outlines need some work.
Step 6 |

This is the final outlook of my art. For realistic view shading is done again and the out lines are redrawn. You must repeat your sketch after shading as the outline get dull after shading.

Nice work.
One of the most powerful ways to add depth is via overlapping.
Meaning, an object that partially covers another objects.
For example:
In your case, if you draw the cast shadows of your objects, some objects can overlap these shadows, and you will get a sense of depth.
Composition is how you arrange things in space, and you did well by arranging them in space, and not in a line.
I think you can do very good with some more practice.

Yeah dear, I am not very perfect in Sketching I think I am at initial stages. I love it too much, but I haven't taken any special classes for. It's my self learning, plus I don't have too much time for it.

A good sketch. To complete, I would add shadows and a background so that individual items do not hang in the air :)
