My trek to Annapurna Base Camp by @sampu - Part 2 - (PowerUp 100%)

Those who read the first part of my travelogue know that we, 8 people Abhishek, Ambar, Ankita, Binoy, Kathakali, Tapas, Ujjwal, and myself Sampat are in our Annapurna Base Camp trek. We board an overnight bus from Birgunj on 02-April-2021 to reach Kathmandu.
After reaching Kathmandu on 03-Apr we hired city cab to reach Tribhuban Airport (KTM).
Cost - 1000 NPR or 13.53 USD per cab.

We booked the flight ticket to Buddha Air (a domestic airlines) ticket from Kathmandu (KTM) to Pokhra (PKR).
Cost : 2000 NPR or 27.05 USD per person.

I was fortunate to manage a right hand side seat and within minutes of the fly, the entire himalayan range is visible. We could not move our eyes from the window for the 30 minutes of fly. It was a lifetime experience.

When we reached the permit office, we found it is closed as Saturday is Government holiday in Nepal. However, the inspector in nearest police station was helpful enough to call-up the permit officer and the permit officer agreed to come at 2pm. We had our lunch in a nearby restaurant, exchanged currency from Indian currency we were carrying to Nepali currency and purchased SIM card of Nepali telecom operators.

The permit officer came at 2pm, we submitted our documents and she issued trek permit for us.
Permit cost : 1000 NPR or 13.53 USD per person.

We hired a SUV car to drop us to Ghandruk, which is the last motorable point for Annapurna Base camp.
Cost : 5000 NPR or 67.63 USD for entire car.

The road is mostly good and concrete, however, the last 30 min is bumpy and dusty. We took a quick snack break on the way and had tea and momo.

We reached Ghandruk at around 6pm and checked-in in a hotel.
Cost : 500 NPR or 6.76 USD per double bed room with attache bath. Food cost extra.

We took bath and spend some time at the lawn. There was live music in the hotel. We had our dinner early and went to sleep. Getting an opportunity to sleep after 2 nights !!
