TEARING DOWN THE PAST... ADIÓS CARPINTERIA LLUGAT!. THE STUDIO/EL ESTUDIO. Episode 2. (2003-2021).(ESP/ENG)

Dear Steemians!
back again a few hours later as I mentioned in my last post(https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@romanie/tearing-down-the-past-adios-carpinteria-llugat-the-mural-el-mural-episode-1-2000-2003-esp-eng), I want to complete this three part post before the year ends, so I still have the third part to post tomorrow. It will feel good to leave this behind into 2021.

Then, over the years things changed. Jason´s friend got married and moved into a big house and made his own home carpentry space and took all his machinery so all the room was left free (almost, always a place to keep "stuff"), so, as I was painting more and more and needed more space to store and create, it felt natural to move into the larger space.

De vuelta unas horas más tarde, tal y como mencioné en mi último post(https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@romanie/desgranando-el-pasado-adios-carpinteria-llugat-el-mural-episodio-1-2000-2003-esp-eng), quiero completar este post de tres partes antes de que acabe el año, así que todavía tengo la tercera parte para publicar mañana. Me sentará bien dejar esto atrás en el 2021.

Después, con el paso de los años las cosas cambiaron. El amigo de Jason se casó y se mudó a una casa grande y se hizo su propio espacio de carpintería en casa y se llevó toda su maquinaria, así que todo el espacio quedó libre (casi, siempre un lugar para guardar "cosas"), así que, como yo pintaba cada vez más y necesitaba más espacio para almacenar y crear, me pareció natural mudarme al espacio más grande.

Some of the corners where I keep things that inspire me. This was taken in 2015, when I came back from living in Vienna for a while. Un rincón del estudio donde ponía cosas que me inspiraban. Esta foto la debí tomar en 2015 cuando volví de una temporada viviendo en Viena.

So...it was finally the time to move out of this lovely old building, the roof was not safe.
This is what the studio looked like after taking everything out, almost.... this image is from November 2021.
Así que finalmente llegó el momento de mudarse de este encantador edificio antiguo, el techo ya no era seguro.

In 2018, Jason and I built an extension onto our home and out of mostly recycled materials made what today is my current studio. The building of that could make a whole new post but I´ll just include a couple of pics of how it´s being used now.

En 2018, Jason y yo, construimos una extensión en nuestra casa con materiales reciclados e hicimos lo que hoy es mi estudio actual. Con las fotos de la construcción de eso podría hacer un nuevo post, pero solo voy a incluir un par de fotos de cómo se está ahora.

So... the story will be told in three posts to not make it sooooooo long. This past week this building was torn down by a bulldozer, I took great footage of that. That will be the third and last episode.
Next episode in a few more hours!

Así que.... la historia continuará en el próximo post dentro de unas horas. Lo voy a intentar hacer en tres episodios para que no sea tan largo y tedioso. Hasta dentro de unas horas!!
