Quora is one of the most popular platforms for ask questions and answers. This contest, Weekly contest. Talking about Steemit by @adeljose is a cool idea to promote steem in the outer world.

I am a Quora user for the past 4 years. So I gave a try to accomplish the task given in the above contest. Here is my answer in Quora for the question asked.

Steemit is basically a blockchain-based blogging platform. The following things you can do after joining the Steemit.

1. You can earn rewards for your blogs with STEEM and SBD
   You are free to you are free write anything valuable while you will be given enough community support too.
2. You can earn rewards by upvoting other’s articles
   Not only by writing but also you can receive rewards by upvoting other’s blogs.
3. You can participate in contests to get attractive prizes (can find some from here)
   There are a bunch of contests open for everyone to join and win additional rewards.
4. You can also organize some contests and have a fun
5. You are open to organizing contests and you will receive enough support from the steemcurators
6. You can launch your business, project, or services on steem (more details)
7. If you are an app developer you can join with developing projects/tools/apps/Dapps on steem (more details)
