Complementary to the chess rook, here are 2 chess pawns I drew with graphite pencils.
Plastic is not simple to draw. It usually does not have much texture, like wood, for example.
In addition, plastic (usually) does not shine (have strong contrast) like some metals.
Therefore, gentleness and smoothness are required.

Yes, they are probably from China, like so many things.
We have a Holocaust day in Israel, when everything is closed.

Meaning with pencils? It is very forgiving (because you can erase), and relatively easy (no color involved, just brightness values).
If you meant the sharpening, then it is better to sharpen with a canister sharpener. Faster, and less debris.
Yes, I meant the sharpening. I knew that canister is a good choice but I haven't got the hang of it yet 😅 it's like the ultimate art teacher's technique, and the students always have a hard time keeping up with it and stay with their little classic pencil sharpeners 😆
But I'm not a student anymore.. so no excuse for me!!
OMG, classic sharpener? That make such a mess with debris? A canister sharpener will change your life.
