Mount Cook in New Zealand is a wonderful sightseeing spot where you can walk on the ice in the ice cap. It's about an hour on the way from Queensland to Christchurch.
It is such a wonderful tourist destination, but there is no canteen or hotel on the way. There was only one toilet on the tracking course under the mountain, and there were not many tourists.
