It's another beautiful and wonderful contest organized by the World Of Xpilar community. I really appreciates your hard work to make this community a better one.

UNDER THE MOON

The Marlians Football club of Ikom, have lost another important match, because their best and most dedicated football player (Fernandes), was not with them.

Fernandes did not intentionally left the team, but he was absent because of what happened to him in the last match against the "Barrack Boys."

It was really a painful incident and it started on the 15th of November 2020, where his opponents saw how good this young and talented player was, there was no doubt that Fernandes was the back-bone of his team, and he was even the captain of the team.

The whole arena was vibrating, and the fans were happy and ready to support their favorite teams to victory.

The "Barrack Boys" were far better and stronger than the "Marlians Football club of Ikom", with their unbeatable squad, they have won so many medals🏅and trophies, and they hardly loss any of their matches, especially when it comes to their Home.

Most people believed that the Marlians Football club of Ikom would loss the match, but they equally still had the doubt because of the captain (Fernandes).

The game started at exactly 4 o'clock pm, everything was moving smoothly until Fernandes scored a goal from the center of the field. It was at that moment, his opponents began to plan for his downfall.

They broke his right leg later in the match, after two of his opponents ganged up against him and ended his football career. It was really a bad day for everyone who witnessed it.

Fernandes dream have been to win atleast one trophy for his team, but it seems dreams his dream had ended. There was tears everywhere after we lost both the match and the most important player in our squad.

But shockingly, Fernandes last words before he left the field was I will be back as soon as possible.

THE MOON LATER SHONE ON US

It is generally believed in my area that "when the moon shines on you, that means good luck is about to locate you."

That was the case of the Marlians Football Club of Ikom", as their star player recovered and returned too quick than expected.

It ended in joy as we are currently the champions of the state all thanks to The Moon That shone on us.
