Jerry 🐁
Jerry (the mouse) is not my guinea pig and it’s not on garden lockdown. He’s been eyeing my patio though for a long while craving to move in. I’m not fond of Jerry though.
Pity my neighbours haven’t got a cat but just a fish tank. Quite a nice aquarium actually which I find even a bit overcrowded with zebra fishes.
Anyway, trying to turn every negative into a positive, I improvised a hide out. I hid and waited for Jerry to make another appearance. I felt like Tom. Looking at the photos it was well worth it and I had fun playing hide and seek with a mouse.
Well done. It may make sales on Adobe, I think.

Thank you ever so much @datych 🤝 Right you are - baby steps but it's getting popular on AS and SS too. It's always good to find a niche. It's a house mouse but image if I photoed a dormouse 😱 They seem so cute, don't they 🤩

You're probably lucky that it was a mouse and not a rat! We had a mouse in our front garden yesterday (which ran up the arm of the guy who came to collect our skip) but there are plenty of cats on the hunt 🍗
Quite lucky 🍀 indeed☝️@the-gorilla I very much doubt I would have bothered to take extreme close-ups of a rat 🐀 The guy who collected your skip had nearly the chance to take a selfie with that aggressive mouse 🙈 I’m sure the cats will track it down sooner or later. I’ve not seen my squirrel 🐿 lately so that’s an improvement and I’m still picking few strawberries 🍓
I don't think I've seen our squirrels for a while either - perhaps they're in hibernation now. Although they've already eaten all of our strawberries so there's not much reason to return. We're in mega-raspberry territory now and also picked some massive courgettes and sweetcorn. We've done well this year 😊
Hopefully the squirrels 🐿 hibernate forever 😂 @the-gorilla Pity they ate all your strawberries 😔 I’ve got my raspberry jungle here too. I’m even having some raspberries right now. I think they make a healthy snack any time of the day. I grew courgettes last year but I wasn’t as successful as you are! I’ve never tried growing proper sweetcorn but I grew including several times this year and will again sweetcorn micro greens. They taste fantastic and are a great addition to stir fries and salads 🍽
Oh, amazing. I didn't expect our sweecorn to grow but it's done really well. I picked some carrots this morning to go with our lunch and a nice bunch of raspberries.

Sounds like you’re 🧑🌾doing very well👏Maybe 🤔you’ve got different carrot varieties as well @the-gorilla? I sometimes get a bunch of tricoloured carrots from a farmers’ market. I’ve not tried growing any 🥕 yet. Friend of mine did but hers came out too small and skinny. They l👀ked nearly like sweet corn silk 🙈She’s got just a rooftop garden 🪴 though which works well for tomatoes for instance but isn’t a carrot friendly place.
