OWL TATTOO - Told ya I would share it. ((Feedback Welcome))
I posted a design yesterday that I tattooed today.
However, I didnt use the original idea that I had shared with the community. As I examined my design more and more closely I started to see where there was some problems. I knew I could do better. I work with amazing talent so I expressed my concerns with the design and wanted their criticism. They both had some better ideas and helped me greatly improve the design. Im glad that I took a step back and honed it in. If Im not confident in my own work then Im not going to put it on somebody for the rest of their life.

It took roughly 3.5 hours (with breaks 4 hours) to do this piece. The client sat like a boss and we had a great conversation. I even taught her a little bit about Steemit and Cryptocurrencies. It was a very pleasant experience for the client and she plans on coming back for more work.
I did a full re-design.
I had about 2 hours to re-design the the concept. It didnt take long after getting a better direction on the piece. I love working with my crew for this reason. I presented both the ideas to the client and she loved them both. I gave her the option to choose which one she felt was the right one for her and she liked the second one ((This was after her daughter and everyone else in the shop put it to a vote)).

In my opinion, the tattoo on arm looks completely different from the sketch, maybe because of natural skin color and volume of the picture.

The original design I felt needed improvement. This was the redesign. I also, freestyle my shading depending on how it needs to be contrasted. When this heals it will lighten up and darken where it needs too. Thanks!!
