This is an amazing post. I watched the bears in a huge enclosure. In fact, it was a part of the forest surrounded by a fence. But this is not at all what you showed. Your shots are incredible. Maybe you want to work at National Geographic :)
No fences here at all! You need a special permit to get into the Olympic Village which the bear company had. They are the one and only doing the tours here, timing it well with the sunrise or sunset. Initially we expected that this will be a morning trip but when we phoned them the day before they told us that we are actually on an evening one which was even better. You literally drive for hours around the park, including off-road and stop to watch the bears wherever you want. You shouldn't jump off the car when you see a bear. Bears have charged the cars before but not when we were touring. Still you sign a waiver so you are aware of everything that might happen after all. Job at the National Geographic would be fantastic! I bet even volunteering there involves a long wait. I have also been on National Geographic trips which are truly awesome. They are quite pricey but worth it.
