Lala and her mother enjoy cheese bread and hot tea.

One morning, Lala and her mother were eating cheese bread and a warm cup of hot tea. They live on the edge of the lake, after the second world war, they moved from cities to villages. Now they live on the edge of Lake Tawar. The morning atmosphere on the lake is very cool and beautiful. The birds chirp are very pleasant, make the heart feel peaceful. They live together, and have a garden behind their house. The garden was filled with vegetables, and coffee trees that had made money. Their life is simple, never give up and complain. Lala and her mother help each other. Lala no longer has a father, because her father was a victim of war who was kidnapped by soldiers and taken away somewhere, never to return. Mole and her mother have let her father go. They do not know where to sue fairly. What is clear, life is a struggle without limits.

Now, Lala and her mother, Mrs. Selfika, are real farmers. Their lives are always peaceful, like a world that has made peace with war. Very beautiful. Cheese Bread and Hot Tea put them enjoying peace. Moreover, that day, their country was celebrating independence day.

While enjoying breakfast, Lala sat facing the window and looked at the cool lake, she heard from the radio frequency, about the frenetic celebration of independence day. So Lala went to her yard and raised her country's flag, along with her mother. Lala is a cute girl of Dutch and Asian descent, her father is a Dutch native, and her mother is Asian. Lala is a smart and kind child. He likes to help his mother wherever her mother goes. Apart from farming, Lala also took the time to teach English and Dutch to local village children. Lala doesn't need money from her job as a language teacher. He sincerely teaches the village children. The village people were very reluctant to Lala, because she was a very kind and wise girl.

When Lala and her mother finished raising the flag on the pole, suddenly three planes crossed the lake and flew north, it was a sign that the country was truly celebrating independence day for the umpteenth time. The plane was going very fast and made a thunderous sound. Seeing the planes flying across Lake Tawar, the children of the villagers running on the streets marked they were very happy.

Lala is very happy and excited. He still has the opportunity to live in an independent country. Imagine, if you live in a country that is not independent, and there are always wars, will hot tea and bread be easy to enjoy? Then Lala returned to the dining room, and again enjoyed a cup of tea, before she went to the garden to pick coffee beans that were already harvested. And his mother hurried back to the kitchen, cooking food for lunch this afternoon. While cooking her mother called Lala and asked:

"Lala, are the coffee beans ready to be harvested?"

"Yes mam, it's time to harvest. And we will get money from the harvest."

"Okay, but before going to the garden, teach the kids first, being a teacher is also very noble." Mrs. Selfika advises Lala.

After hearing mother's advice, Lala didn't think much, she immediately got ready to go teach the village children at the Village Hall. Being a language teacher is also great fun. Apart from gaining experience, he also won the trust of the villagers to be a good teacher.

Later, several years later, it was published in a city newspaper, that there was a teacher named Lala on the outskirts of Lake Tawar, who had dedicated himself for years to teach Dutch and English to village children, so that he was awarded an award by the governor, and given a salary every month for the rest of his life.[]
