The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #150 - At the Pearl of the Adriatic
Dubrovnik is a small old town in Croatia known for it's historic architecture, culture, rich history and stunning landscapes. When I planned to visit this place I did not know what to expect here. It was a one day shore excursion on our cruise and I can say it was one of the best destination on my whole 7 days cruise journey. The city gave a very warm and welcoming feeling. The limestone streets, beaches and the old city of Dubrovnik which is also very famous since the Game of Thrones was shot here, all of this is a unique adventure. The water is turquoise blue and crystal clear. The town is set up on the hills and as we go higher up on the hills the views get better and better. The city is small, if you just want to take a glimpse of it 1 day is ok but if you really want to experience and enjoy the place then a few days would be good and this place does deserve one's attention for a few days. Totally in love with this place.
