The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #142 - Sunset in the Mountains
Oman is a Country of varied landscapes. There are Mountains and Seas and Desert and you have so much to explore in this place. The Beaches are some of the best beaches of the world here with turquoise water and white sands. The Mountains are majestic giving some breathtaking views. There are just 2 seasons in Oman; Summer and Winter. In winter it's nice to spend time at the beach, but in summer it's nice to travel up to the mountains, because the weather up there is very pleasant. When in the city we have temperatures of 50 degrees, up in the mountains it is 25 degrees or even lower at times. This is a place full of adventure and if one enjoys raw nature one will fall in love with this place. The only thing is people feel that since it's a part of Middle East region it may be a very conservative place and hence they avoid to travel. But Oman is a free land and there are no such restrictions that would limit anyone in their travel.
This picture I clicked on one of the visits to the Mountains. This was a random drive up to the Mountains and spending some time up here doing barbeque and enjoying the weather and the views with the beautiful sunset in background.

It is an incredible place between the sea and the mountains to choose and enjoy. Uff! when you say 50 degrees, that is if it is hot I prefer 25 degrees. Thanks for sharing. Successes and blessings!
Thank you. Yes 50 degrees, it is horrible to step out, but after a point you get used to and you carry on with your normal chores.
