The World of Xpilar Portrait Photography and Art Contest Week #005
Shaila is a popular dance among tribals in the border areas of Chhattisgarh, India. This dance can involve youth from all over the village. Its preparation also starts like from one month ago. The young men dance with amazing make ups in tribal nourishment by making a circle or semicircle tied in a peacock waist.
Last year I had a chance to be at the dance festival. The dancer was delighted to help me with his portrait.
