El equipo conformado por científicos de distintas áreas trabajó incansablemente en su diseño, el personal técnico de los equipos multidisciplinarios pusieron todo su empeño para ejecutarlo. El proyecto enamoraba a quien lo conocía. Así que muchos sueños y voluntades se sumaron a su realización. La escasez de alimentos desaparecería de la faz de la tierra, gracias a la incorporación de los suelos submarinos a la producción alimentaria. El reflejo verde-esperanza en la superficie parecía confirmar el éxito de los esfuerzos sumados.

Pero como el mayor enemigo del hombre es el hombre, en el diseño entró también la protección, la destrucción de cuanto pudiese sabotearlo. Es increíble, pero cierto. Aún las mejores y más pacíficas ideas de desarrollo y solución a problemáticas mundiales pueden ser objetivos de intereses mezquinos, que sobrepongan a ellas el control del poder y el dinero.

Las plataformas de vigilancia son pues una parte vital en el proyecto, suspendidas cual satélites y observando con un sofisticado equipo el área de producción y las vecinas. En constante y rápido movimiento tenían protección contra eventos naturales y los creados por el hombre, hasta el momento conocidos. La primera había sido destruida, simultáneamente con la estación vigilada. Ahora, su posición y revolucionario sistema de defensa, le había permitido llegar a la etapa final del cultivo. El verde-esperanza en la superficie, pero...¡No se puede bajar la guardia!
