This time I want to participate again in the 20th macro photography contest held by Mod WORLD OF XPILAR @sultan-aceh and supported directly by @xpilar.
Today I want to post a photo of an insect that I found in the forests of Aceh, Indonesia. The name of this insect is the Beetle.
The distribution of beetles is very wide. Beetles can be found in all major habitats, except in the oceans and polar regions. They interact with their ecosystems in a variety of ways.
Several species of beetles are prey for a variety of invertebrate and vertebrate animals, including insects, fish, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Beetles are generally not serious pests, but they do include agricultural and industrial pests.
Do you guys know? Beetles often perform same-sex marriages. Because male beetles seem to lose the ability to distinguish between male and female pairs.
