Navegando hacia Santa Teresita
Santa Teresita es el pueblo que abraza a la bahía. Entre tantos viajes, como capitán de su barco, Daniel se detuvo en este pintoresco pueblo marinero. Allí conoció a Margaretta, una joven de origen italiano, que vivía con sus padres y hermanos cerca del puerto. Ella es vendedora de flores y su familia compra pescado a las embarcaciones para luego vender en el mercado.
Margaretta tiene el cabello castaño y su piel es tersa como su juventud. Los ojos de Margaretta son color miel cual jarabe de dioses. Ella es muy agraciada y le encanta ir al puerto, muy temprano en las mañanas, para llevar flores a las imágenes de vírgenes talladas en la proa de los barcos.
También, en las tardes, Margaretta regresa al puerto para mirar la caída del sol entre los dos peñascos. Esos rayos dorados iluminan el rostro de Margaretta dejando poesía en su estela.
La embarcación de Daniel es muy sencilla. Apenas si puede tener una nevera pequeña donde coloca su pesca. Pero él es feliz así! No anhela grandes cardúmenes.
La libertad de navegar y conocer distintos lugares es la máxima felicidad de Daniel.
Realmente, esto último, ya no es tan cierto.
Ahora, la felicidad Daniel es regresar a Santa Teresita para reencontrarse con su amada Margaretta. Desde que la conoció, hace tres años en el puerto, todos sus pensamientos son para ella. Y ella le corresponde con la misma pasión.
Para Daniel no hay viajes sin retornos. No hay nuevos puertos ni nuevas ciudades. Todos sus destinos entre olas conducen a Santa Teresita.
Hoy en la tarde, la pequeña embarcación de Daniel se asoma entre los peñascos. Él mira, con sus manos firmes en el timón, la figura de su dama en el puerto. Y ella, enamorada, con el viento acariciando sus cabellos, sus ojos color atardecer y su vientre hinchado, espera ansiosa la llegada de Daniel.
Ambos se encontrarán en poco tiempo. El puerto será testigo de la buena nueva porque él será padre por segunda vez.

Sailing to Saint Theresita
Saint Theresita is the village that embraces the bay. Among so many trips, as captain of his boat, Daniel stopped in this picturesque fishing village. There he met Margaretta, a young woman of Italian origin, who lived with her parents and brothers near the port. She is a flower seller and her family buys fish from the boats and then sells them at the market.
Margaretta has brown hair and her skin is as smooth as her youth. Margaretta's eyes are the color of honey, like the syrup of the gods. She is very graceful and loves to go to the port, very early in the morning, to bring flowers to the images of virgins carved on the prow of the boats.
Also, in the afternoons, Margaretta returns to the port to watch the sunset between the two rocks. Those golden rays illuminate Margaretta's face leaving poetry in her wake.
Daniel's boat is very simple. He can barely keep a small refrigerator where he puts his fish. But he is happy like that! He doesn't yearn for large shoals.
The freedom to navigate and see different places is Daniel's greatest happiness.
Really, the latter is no longer so true.
Now, Daniel's happiness is to return to Saint Theresita to reunite his beloved Margaret. Since he met her, three years ago in the port, all his thoughts are for her. And she corresponds to him with the same passion.
For Daniel, there are no journeys without returns. There are no new ports or new cities. All his destinations between waves drive to Saint Theresita.
Today in the afternoon, Daniel's little boat peeks out among the rocks. With his hands firmly on the rudder, he looks the figure of his lady in the harbour. And she, loving, with the wind caressing her hair, her sunset coloured eyes and her swollen belly, waits anxiously for Daniel's arrival.
The two will meet in a short time. The port will witness the good news because he will be a father for the second time.
