The eye is a complex optical system that captures light from the surroundings, regulates its intensity, focuses the lens to form the image, and then converts it into a set of electrical signals that travel to the brain through neurons via the optic nerve.
With respect to human relationships, the eyes have played a primary role in social activity. Likewise, they have been considered aesthetically attractive and striking, and through popular culture, they have been endowed with sensitivity and symbolism.

El ojo es un complejo sistema óptico que capta la luz de los alrededores, regula su intensidad, enfoca el objetivo para formar la imagen, y luego la convierte en un conjunto de señales eléctricas que viajan al cerebro a través de neuronas por el nervio óptico.
Con respecto a las relaciones humanas, los ojos han jugado un papel primordial en la actividad social. De igual manera, se han considerado estéticamente atractivos y llamativos, y a través de la cultura popular, se les ha dotado de sensibilidad y simbolismo.
