Across the Street
This is a photo taken recently from the sidewalk opposite the building where I live, showing some of the buildings that I can see from the balcony of my apartment. Behind me is the East Park (Parque del Este), an urban park with an area of 21.50 hectares, where there are sports and recreational facilities, such as basketball and softball courts, jogging tracks, as well as kiosks with chairs and benches for the enjoyment of visitors. Unfortunately, at this time, it does not have the maintenance that a public place like this requires.
In recent weeks, I have been experimenting with the image editing tools offered by the various applications, in order to transform my photographs to my satisfaction, but I do not always achieve the desired result. This is a case of trial and error, where I wanted to highlight the buildings in some way, modifying the sky.
Al otro lado de la Calle
Esta es una foto tomada recientemente desde la acera contraria al edificio donde resido, observándose algunas de las edificaciones que puedo observar desde el balcón de mi apartamento. A mis espaldas, se encuentra el Parque del Este, un parque urbano que cuenta con una superficie de 21,50 Hectáreas y donde existen instalaciones deportivas y recreativas, como canchas de basquetbol, softbol y pistas de trote, además de kioskos con sillas y banco para el disfrute de los visitantes. Lamentablemente, en estos momentos, no cuenta con el mantenimiento que requiere un lugar público como este.
En las últimas semanas, he estado experimentando con las herramientas de edición de imágenes que ofrecen las diversas aplicaciones, con el fin de transformar mis fotografías a mi entera satisfacción, pero no siempre logro el resultado deseado. Este es un caso de ensayo y error, donde buscaba resaltar de alguna manera las edificaciones, modificando el cielo.
