Saint Michael Chapel
The Saint Michael Chapel built in 1924, is located in the inner courtyard of the house that since 1982, serves as the headquarters of the Barquisimeto Museum.
The original structure of the museum would be built using traditional techniques on three lots of land that included the old Saint Lazarus Hospital, the building of the Public Prison that was destroyed by the earthquake that hit much of the country in 1812, and the third lot where a dwelling house was located, being inaugurated in 1918 as a public health institution under the name of Charity Hospital.
Then, in 1939 in homage to its founder, Antonio María Pineda, the city council would put his name to the hospital, which would work in that location, in the central part of the city of Barquisimeto, until the 1954, when he would be transferred to his current headquarters on Vargas Avenue. Subsequently, after many years of abandonment, the building would be restored to be used for its current use.

La Capilla San Miguel construida en 1924, se encuentra ubicada en el patio interior de la casona que desde el año 1982, sirve de sede al Museo de Barquisimeto.
La estructura original del museo, sería construida haciendo uso de técnicas tradicionales sobre tres lotes de terreno que comprendían el antiguo Hospital San Lázaro, la edificación de la Cárcel Pública que fuese destruida por el terremoto que azotó gran parte del país en 1812, y un tercer lote donde se ubicaba una casa de habitación, siendo inaugurada en 1918 como una institución pública de salud bajo el nombre de Hospital de la Caridad.
Luego, en 1939 en homenaje a su fundador, Antonio María Pineda, el concejo municipal de la ciudad le colocaría su nombre al hospital, el cual funcionaría en esa ubicación, en el casco central de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, hasta el año 1954, cuando sería trasladado a su actual sede en la Avenida Vargas. Posteriormente, luego de muchos años de abandono, la edificación sería restaurada para destinarla al uso que conserva en la actualidad.
