Visited And Hiked At Eagle Falls And South Lake Tahoe. El Dorado National Forest. CA | Part 1

The snow has not completely gone yet, still visible a bit here and there, but some of the people still bundling up. Late April, in South Lake Tahoe isn't that freezing cold but we can still feel the cold air, and that won't hinder most people around the park to hike down the rocky hill or enjoy the beauty of waterfalls on every corner of Lake Tahoe.

Eagle Waterfall is one of the waterfalls in the area. There are two parts of Eagle waterfall, one is upper waterfall with short and easy hike 0.3 miles loop of trail and the stream will continue flow to the below waterfall right across the street.

^{It looks funny the way my son is holding the snowball, I bet he felt little yuck or weird. But definitely he was having a hard time enduring his sensory problem, well at least this time he can hold it.}

Views from lower waterfall

Hike down to the lower waterfall was a bit challenging, it's steep and rocky. Although not that much view we can capture but glad to be able to feel the mist and listening the sound of water riffling down and watch the path of water continue flowing to the lake.
